This was knocking around in my head. Knocking it onto paper is a wonderful thing.

Gender Guesser

I ran most of the posts that were on my home page through the Gender Guesser, as well as Sven‘s one page stories.

If my blog posts are considered Informal writing, I received 7 hits as male and 1 hit as weak male. If they are considered as formal writing, I have 3 hits as male, 4 as weak male, and one as weak female.

Sven’s short stories would be considered formal writing even though they use fairly informal language and style. He received 5 hits as male and 1 hit as weak male in the informal category. In the formal category, he received 1 hit as male, 2 hits as female, and 1 hit as weak female.
